Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Silver Intelligence collects across silverintelligence.co and silverintelligence.si, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It's written to describe what this platform actually does, not a generic template.

Account information

When you sign up, we collect your name and email address, and a password (stored securely, hashed — we never see it in plain text) — or, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares with us for that purpose.

Profile information

What you add during onboarding or in your profile settings: occupation, education, learning interests and purposes, language and time zone, and — where you provide it, such as to activate a free trial or coupon — a mobile number. All of it is optional beyond what a specific feature requires, and used to personalize your experience (for example, the suggestion in your welcome email).

Content you create

Eternal posts, books and their sections, notes, highlights, and messages to AI Mentor.

Payment information

Payments are handled by Razorpay. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and its amount — never your full card, UPI, or bank account details.

Usage information

Standard technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and basic interaction events — collected to keep the Service secure, diagnose problems, and understand what's actually used.

• To create and maintain your account, and to provide the Service.
• To process payments and grant what you paid for — a membership, a book purchase or rental.
• To send transactional emails — a welcome note, a purchase receipt, a membership notice — and, where relevant, a personalized suggestion based on what you told us during onboarding.
• To prevent abuse of pricing mechanics — the one-time free trial and single-use coupon codes — which is the specific reason a mobile number is requested for a ₹0 order.
• To keep the Service secure and investigate misuse when it's reported.
• To improve the product, based on aggregated usage patterns.

The marketing site and platform use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and the site functioning, plus basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run Silver Intelligence:

• Supabase — authentication and our primary database.
• Railway — hosting for our backend service.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Resend — delivery of transactional email (receipts, account notices).
• Google — optional sign-in via Google OAuth.

Each processes only what it needs to perform its function for us, under its own privacy and security terms.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, as needed to run the Service; with law enforcement or regulators where we're legally required to; or if Silver Intelligence is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, in which case your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after deletion to comply with legal, tax, or dispute-resolution obligations (for example, payment records).

You can, at any time:

• Access and update most of your profile information from your account settings.
• Request a copy of your data, or deletion of your account, by writing to contact@silverintelligence.co.
• Opt out of non-essential emails via the link in those emails. Transactional emails tied to your account or a purchase — a receipt, a security notice — aren't optional while your account is active, since they're part of the Service itself.

Silver Intelligence is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access controls on our infrastructure — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we treat this seriously and will notify affected users if a breach materially affects them.

Silver Intelligence operates primarily from India, and our infrastructure providers may process data in other countries. Wherever it's processed, we require the same standard of protection described in this Policy.

We may update this Policy as the Service changes. We'll update the effective date above when we do, and for material changes, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know.
